Editorial Policy
How Alpha Agentic reports, sources, uses AI tools and handles corrections.
Our mission
Alpha Agentic is a free news site for investors covering AI and the datacenters, chips and power behind it. Our goal is to give readers accurate, clearly sourced reporting and to explain what it means for investors, without hype. There is no paid tier. Alpha Agentic is owned and published by Eli Yang.
We publish four kinds of content:
- The Daily Brief: a weekday morning roundup of the news that matters.
- The Weekend Recap: published on Sundays.
- News: articles on individual stories.
- Analysis: longer pieces that interpret developments and trends.
How we report and source
We go to primary sources first: company filings and press releases, SEC filings, government data and official calendars. When a story is based on reporting from a single outlet that we have not independently confirmed, we label it with the source, for example "Report:" or "Reuters:". Claims we cannot confirm are either clearly flagged as unconfirmed or cut.
Stock prices come from consolidated market data and may be delayed. Company tickers appear on first mention so readers can identify the securities involved.
Use of AI tools
Alpha Agentic is an AI-assisted newsroom, and we want to be plain about what that means. Our articles are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools. Every piece is then edited and fact-checked against primary sources before publication. A human reviews and approves every piece before it is published.
AI tools help us work faster. They do not decide what we publish, and they are not treated as a source. Facts in our articles must trace back to a primary source or a clearly attributed report.
Analysis vs. reporting
We keep reporting and opinion separate so readers always know which is which.
- Each item in the Daily Brief includes a "What It Means for Investors" line that explains why the news may matter.
- News articles include a section called "The Alpha Take" This is our analysis, and it is clearly separated from the reporting above it.
- Pieces published as "Analysis" are interpretation by design.
Analysis reflects our judgment based on the information available at the time. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security.
Corrections
We work to get things right, and we fix errors when we find them.
To request a correction, email contact@thealphaagentic.com with the article link, the statement you believe is wrong and, if possible, a source that shows the correct information. We review every request and aim to respond within two business days.
When we correct an error of fact, we update the article and add a dated correction note at the bottom explaining what was changed. Minor fixes that don't change the meaning, such as typos or formatting, are made without a note.
Conflicts of interest and holdings
Readers should be able to trust that our coverage is not shaped by personal financial interests.
If the publisher or a contributor holds a position in a company covered in an article, we disclose it at the end of that article. Anyone involved in a piece does not trade a stock within 48 hours before or after we publish about that company.
Alpha Agentic has no sponsors or paid partnerships today. If we ever publish sponsored or partner content, it will be clearly labeled "Sponsored" and kept separate from our reporting. Advertisers have no say in our coverage.
Not investment advice
Alpha Agentic is free and for informational purposes only. Nothing here is investment advice. Our reporting and analysis are not personalized to anyone's financial situation, and we cannot give individual investment advice. Market data may be delayed. Do your own research and consider speaking with a licensed financial professional before making investment decisions.
