This Privacy Policy describes how Alpha Agentic ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://www.thealphaagentic.com (the "Site"), including our Korean edition at /ko/. Alpha Agentic is an investor-focused news site covering AI, datacenters, chips, and power, operated by Eli Yang and hosted on Ghost(Pro).
This page is meant to help you understand our practices. It is not legal advice and does not create any guarantee or warranty.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following information:
- Newsletter members (Ghost): If you subscribe to our newsletter, Ghost collects your email address and, if you provide it, your name. Ghost may also track whether you open emails and click links in them.
- Analytics: Ghost provides basic site analytics (for example, page views and related usage data).
- Cookies and similar technologies: The Site and its partners use cookies and similar technologies as described below.
- Communications: If you email us, we receive whatever information you include in that message.
We do not require an account to read Site content. Member sign-in on Ghost uses cookies so you can stay signed in.
Cookies and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising.
Google AdSense and advertising cookies: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this Site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
The DoubleClick cookie: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this Site. Ghost cookies: Ghost uses cookies for member sign-in and related site features, for example ghost-members-ssr and ghost-members-ssr.sig, which keep you signed in as a newsletter member. These cookies are only set if you sign in. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some features, such as staying signed in, may not work.
Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland: If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before Google and its partners use cookies or similar technologies to store or access information on your device for advertising, including personalized ads. We use Google's consent management platform, which is certified under the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework, to show you this choice. How We Share Information
We share information with service providers that help us run the Site, including:
- Ghost(Pro): Hosting, membership, newsletter delivery, email open/click tracking, and basic analytics
- Google: Advertising services (AdSense) and related advertising cookies, as described above
We do not sell your personal information for money. Allowing Google and its partners to use cookies for personalized advertising may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some US state laws. See "US State Privacy Rights" below for your choices.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or in connection with a transfer of the Site (for example, if the Site changes ownership), in which case this policy would continue to apply or you would be notified of changes.
Data Retention and Your Choices
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy (for example, while you remain a newsletter subscriber) or as required by law.
You may:
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any newsletter email
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@thealphaagentic.com
- Manage advertising preferences via Google Ads Settings and www.aboutads.info
US State Privacy Rights
Residents of California and certain other US states, including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and Oregon, may have rights under their state's privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).
What we collect: In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as your email address and name, if you give them to us, and online identifiers such as cookie IDs and IP addresses), internet activity (such as pages viewed and interactions with ads) and general location inferred from your IP address. We collect this from you directly, from your browser or device, and from our service providers. We use it for the purposes listed in "How We Use Information" and share it with the service providers listed in "How We Share Information."
Sale and sharing for advertising: We do not sell personal information for money. When Google and its partners use cookies on this Site for personalized ads, this may be considered a "sale" of personal information or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law and similar laws. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give you a right to limit its use.
Your rights: Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and get a copy of it
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal information we hold about you
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising
- Appeal our decision if we decline your request
- Not be discriminated against for using these rights
How to opt out: You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of some vendors' use of cookies at www.aboutads.info. You can also email us to ask that we opt you out, as described below.
How to make a request: Email contact@thealphaagentic.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line and the state you live in. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, for example by confirming the email address on file. You may use an authorized agent, who must show us your written permission. We aim to respond within 45 days. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our response, and we will reply to the appeal within the time required by your state's law.
Users in Korea (Personal Information Protection Act)
This section applies to users in the Republic of Korea, including readers of our Korean edition at /ko/, and is provided under the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Items collected and purpose: Newsletter sign-up: email address (required) and name (optional), used to send the newsletters you request and to manage your sign-in. Emails to us: your email address and anything you include, used to respond to you. Automatically collected: IP address, browser and device information, cookie IDs and pages visited, used for site security, analytics and advertising as described above.
Retention and destruction: We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep email correspondence only as long as needed to respond to you and handle any follow-up, unless a law requires us to keep it longer. When the retention period ends or the purpose is achieved, we delete electronic records so they cannot be recovered.
Provision to third parties: We do not provide your personal information to third parties except as described in this policy, with your consent or where required by law.
Processing entrusted to others and transfers outside Korea: We use these service providers, which process information outside Korea:

Information is transferred over the network when you use the Site or sign up. If you do not want your information transferred abroad, do not sign up for the newsletter and block advertising cookies in your browser. Some site features may then be unavailable.
Your rights: You may ask to access, correct, delete or suspend the processing of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent, at any time. To make a request or ask a question about how we handle personal information, email contact@thealphaagentic.com. We will act on your request without delay, as required by law.
Cookies: You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings, for example in Chrome under Settings, Privacy and security, Third-party cookies. Refusing cookies may affect some features, such as staying signed in.
Children under 14: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 in Korea. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
Security: We rely on our service providers' security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), and limit access to personal information to the publisher.

Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@thealphaagentic.com and we will take steps to delete it.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Their own privacy policies apply.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are posted. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
